Nose Work Classes

In this 6-week beginner nose work session, your dog will build confidence and motivation while learning searching skills for super yummy dog treats.   Cost $120 per session.  

• Next session:  October 2, 2024
• Session starts on Wednesdays on October 2, 2024
• Wednesdays at 4:30 pm
• Wednesdays at  6:30 pm 
• Limited to 5 students per class.

(Prerequisite:  Intro to Nose Work)  This 6-week session builds upon the searching skill learned in Intro to Nose Work.  Your dog will be introduced to the 3 foundation nose work odors, birch, anise and clove, which are essential oils.  Your dog's searching skills will continue to grow as they receive their super yummy treats for locating boxes with the specific odor.  Cost $120 per session.

• Students in Intro to Nose Work class get auto registration into Intro To Odor.

(Prerequisite:  Intro to Odor)  Lots of fun happens in this 6-week session.  This combines your dog's searching skills and lots of new challenges containers to search through.  Focus will be given to your dog's indication and change of behavior as well.  Cost $120 per session.

• Students in Intro to Odor class get auto registration into Containers and More Class.

(Prerequisite:  Passing an ORT or attending Containers & More)  Teaching your dog that odor can be in locations other than boxes and containers is the purpose of this class.  It is a foundation class on developing your dog's searching skills for the competition element of Interior Searches.  In this session, you'll see your dog's searching skills expand as each class has new challenges.  Cost $120 per session.

• Students in Containers & More Class get auto registration into Interiors Class.

(Prerequisite:  Graduated from Level 4 Intro to Interiors Class or be competing in Nose Work competions)  These classes will widen your dog's skills for working through scent problems such as convergence, pooling odor, sourcing, elevation etc.  These classes are offered each month on Monday afternoon and evenings and Tuesday mornings and evenings.  Email Sandra for more information.
