Good manners Training

Instructors Sandra Carbonell and Kim Dykstra are co-instructing Good Manners Class on Thursdays at Pawsitive Training Dog.   This class will help new dog owners focus on every day good manners dogs need - such as recall, sitting nicely while getting their leash on, crate trainning, walking nicely on a leash, leave it, etc. 

The skills built in the class can literally be life saving for a dog (recall and leave it) and also help dogs be well mannered for going places or having company visit at your house.  

Many of the skills taught in this class will also prepare dogs for the AKC Star Puppy (dogs under a year old), Canine Good Citizen (CGC), Canine Good Citizen Advanced (CCGA), Canine Good Citizen Urban (CGCU) and UKC Socialized Pet Obedience Test (SPOT).

Young dogs who have had two rounds of parvo/distemper can attend - as well as more mature dogs who need their skills refined or enhanced.  

This class is not suitable for dogs with reactivity challenges.

• Cost $150 for the 6-week session
